I love beaches. Any beaches. I would love to live overlooking a beach and hear the sea whilst I’m in my bed. Blackness beach is NOT a sunbathing kind of beach, the water is black and inky and can sometimes wash up all manner of rubbish.
However…..this beach is beautiful. With views to Blackness Castle, the Forth Road Bridge, Fife – littered with washed up glass, driftwood and shells and woodland on one side, I feel very lucky to have such a lovely historic spot on my doorstep.
