All That Glitters….Part 2

Calling all magpies!  Here’s Part 2 of All That Glitters featuring soft whites and creams as opposed to the  black and grey in Part 1.  The crystal light was in a hotel in Austria, the Anna Sui dress is a friend’s wedding dress and the bracelet I have had for years (it gets commented on every time I wear it, which makes me smile as my children chose it for me).  Enjoy!

All That Glitters…..Part 1

There’s no shame in admitting I love a bit of sparkle, whether it be sequins, beading, metallic hues of gold and silver….here’s a few of my favourites close to hand.  I haven’t had chance to wear the black vintage top yet, thinking it will look cool with my black Zara pants, red heels and my Mary Portas tuxedo jacket for my Christmas lunch out……non?

Keeping My Head….

I have a hate – hate relationship with my hair, it’s unruly but not curly and NEVER stays straight, and to add insult to injury it’s thick when bobbed and straggly when long.  Sighs……

During the summer I took the plunge and had it all chopped off to a chin length bob with bangs, for a while it was sleek, stylish and knocked years off me.  Now that winter is setting in and the damp weather in Scotland is playing havoc with my hair, I’m giving in to nature, letting the bangs grow out and letting it wave.  What better way to adorn my crappy locks than with my collection of combs and pins?

How do you wear yours?

Home….All Things Green

For someone who only wears my staple comfort colours of black, grey, cream with a dash of metallic (red nails and lips if feeling adventurous) I find it amusing that my home is stuffed with every conceivable colour.  Granted every wall is white and floors are bare but even so – clashing has never seemed so good.  Here’s a few green things from around my home (complete with dust and all!)…….
