Profile…..Images Re-worked

The past few weeks have been silly busy with my full time photography job.  I  am literally in bed at nine thirty most evenings. No fun. Bags under eyes and as David keeps pointing out – I looked like a washed out rag. Selling it to you eh? Daily yoga has gone by the wayside and chocolate has come out in full force (four Easter eggs down – that didn’t belong to me).

I have quite a few shoots lined up for the Easter holidays and hope to be experimenting with a bit of analogue photography as well, with my (new to me) Olympus OM 1 – birthday present, Mothers Day and Valentines all rolled into one.

Whilst cataloguing some of my images – I took another look at profiles, reworked them a little  in VSCO (also new to me).

Weekend Reflections…..

Sometimes the best laid plans go pear shaped.  Our family weekend in London wasn’t our greatest time away together.   But you live and learn and come back stronger.

The Portrait Session #25….In The Hood

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Katie and I went to Edinburgh to take some shots for her college project. We managed, as us girls do, to squeeze in a rather nice lunch and a bit of shopping along the way. This shot was taken at the rooftop terrace of the Museum, one of my favourite locations.  I used my 12-40mm lens on my Olympus OM-D EM-1 – I think I prefer shooting with a prime, rather than zoom.

Model – Katie

Location – Edinburgh

Home….All Things Green

For someone who only wears my staple comfort colours of black, grey, cream with a dash of metallic (red nails and lips if feeling adventurous) I find it amusing that my home is stuffed with every conceivable colour.  Granted every wall is white and floors are bare but even so – clashing has never seemed so good.  Here’s a few green things from around my home (complete with dust and all!)…….
