Light Catching…

I had a rare weekday with no school photography booking (half day for kids on a Friday) so I was delighted to not have to  get up a six and lug my studio about.  Instead I spent the time during the solar eclipse walking the dog (the air temperature changed dramatically, everything seemed still and the birds were singing) then came home to see if I could glimpse the show between the clouds.

Here is my light catching from this morning – featuring no moon….

Angles, Light and Shade……

This week has barely started but it feels like it should be drawing to a close.  And it’s only Tuesday.  I tried approaching today from a different angle, I worked minimally from home today (lucky that I could) and got a few things out of the way that needed to done. I did important  things like baking a cake.  I tried to get some space in my head. I craved warm sun (didn’t get any!). I made lists. I tried to look at things from a different perspective.

I’m revisiting these two images as they incorporate angles, light and shade – just sums up my thoughts and feelings today.
